Old school days

Recently I have come across cards using the "chalkboard technique. And I thought it's pretty cool, especially with the use of this HA stamp. This is also a perfect way to use up some of my black folded card I got which comes in a set of different colour. I hardly find some use of black cardstock. I seldom incorporates black into my cards.

It makes me to think of my university days, and the Math class that I'm not particular fond of. The formula often gave me "headache". Those were the old days.

Here's a simple card I came up with.

I first stamp the HA Formula Fun stamp with Memories Unicorn Pigment White ink. It gives such a crisp white image on the black card stock. And I wait at least 10 minutes until it dries. Then I stamp the same image slightly off with HA Hero Hues White Dye ink. This ink gives a "ghost-like" effect to create a chalkboard effect. Then I add the strip of kraft card with the sentiment. Done!

Materials:
Stamps: Heroarts CG132 Messages, CG325 Formula Fun
Ink: Memories Unicorn Pigment White ink, Hero Hues White dye ink, Memories Tuxedo Black ink
