CASE Study 4th Anniversary Week 2 Challenge

Time for birthday card and I can't wait to try out the new Mama Elephant In My Heart stamp set. I am looking for my inspiration from the design team of CASE Study 4th Anniversary week 2 blog hop. I finally pick Wida's card from here.


A closer look:

I water colour the girl with distress ink, then cut it out (I started to regret that I didn't buy the corresponding die). Stamp the balloon with distress marker, cut out the "grass", and the background. Then I stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment, tie with a ribbon and add some glossy accent on the balloon. Add some shimmer with Wink of Stella marker on the girl's dress and the sentiment. Sponge some distress ink on the edge, and finally mount the whole thing on the dark brown note card.
