After some shopping (and some waiting for the shipment) I finally gather all the material I need. And now, I can proudly pronoun that all of my stamps have a good home (instead of lying over on the floor or here and there).
Let's get started.
This is where it begins. I bought this 3-drawer plastic container and my supplies were once all fit in nicely. The top drawer is for my clear and cling stamp (mostly Hero Arts and Penny Black), middle drawer for ink pads and the lowest one for punches. The wooden stamp are in another smaller 12x12 drawer.
But as time goes by, I just need another container for my growing collection. I want to store all my new clear/cling stamps as well as my embossing folder/die cut there.
Starting from the top drawer, I have all my Mama elephant, Paper Smooches, Lawn Fawn and Flourishes stamps on the left, the middle is some odd size stamp (inside the green bag) that I still have to figure out later on. On the right there are a few Studio G, Local King, Technique Tuesdays, Art Impressions, Maya Road and some others which I only have very few of them.
Now I can flip through my collection and find the one I want!
The middle drawer contains all my Papertrey Ink stamps. I took out the original plastic container and store everything either in the CD case (the earlier set comes with CD case), or the Avery Elle storage pocket.
I put two smaller $5 set in one pocket and they fit nicely in.
In the back are the larger set. These storage pockets are perfect for the DVD size stamp packaging.
The middle section stores the CD cases of the Papertrey Ink stamp. In the back are the Papertrey Ink die in the original plastic bag, I still need to figure out a better way for them.
On the right side, I store all my Unity, Magnolia, Uptown girls and Pure Innocence stamps.
I also put two Pure Innocence stamp into one pocket.
For the Magnolia Stamp, I bought the EZ Mount storage panel from Crafter's Companion. I cut it to the size of the Avery Elle storage pocket, and mount a few stamps on one panel. I still need to stamp a index sheet for each panel. But for now it's already so much easier to go through the collection than going through each individual stamp.
The bottom drawer are for the embossing folder, die cut and a few of the Stampin Up set.
I try not to store rubber/plastic stamp there as it's closest to the floor and I have floor heating. I'm not sure if the plastic would be affected by the heat. I have quite a few of the Spellbinder Nestability die set and I have to admit I hate those hard plastic cover. I am so afraid my hand got cut seriously one day as the edges are so sharp after I open the package. As well those hard plastic cover takes up so much space. Solution? I just bought some cheap A5 and B6 size plastic bag (the one you would use to hold your card if you were to sell your card) and put the whole thing inside (minus the hard cover of course). I still have some Avery Elle storage pocket I may change later on, though.
Here are the Memory Box die.
On the right are all my Embossing folders. I still leave them in the original packaging. Too bad it can't fit my whole collection of embossing folder. I probably need to use storage pocket to save some space (instead of the hard plastic cover).
Finally, I shuffle the old drawer a little bit.
And that's it! I'm almost there. Still need to clean up the original packaging and perhaps create some index page. As well I need to figure out the storage solution for my ink pad. Until then! And thank you for staying with me. I know this post is long. But I hope I can inspire you to do some "clean up". I also was inspired by others so that I finally get up and "do something" about the "mess". After all, I believe a happy craft room (I mean clean and organized) will produce a happy crafter, don't you agree?

Oh my goodness, such a great organization system you have, and so many stamps and dies! That is the thing with us crafters,we just love organizing our crafts as much as playing with them. Great job! ~Diane
Thank you Diane. It's very time consuming for this task but I think it worths it!
How fun to see all your supplies organized so neatly, Petti! I was straining my eyes to read all the stamp names. LOL!
Oh my, is that a little peace of heaven right there or what?! lol. Nice job organizing.
