Spring flower

The past weekend I have attended a Celebrate Spring festival in local community center. The weather is just perfect for heading outside. And talking about Spring, how about a Spring flower card?

Materials:
Heroarts Sizzix Silhouette Vines #657772, Distress Marker, ribbon, Papertrey Ink Tiny Tag II stamp and die, Heroarts Letterpress paper, watermist bottle, Wink of stella maker

I love how easy to create this watercolour look with distress marker. I just colour the stamp with different distress markers, and then spritz twice with watermist bottle about 3 inch above, then stamp on the paper. And viola! Great watercolour look! Then I emboss the panel with the embossing folder that comes with the set. With the Heroarts letterpress paper, the impression is very deep and it looks so much like the Letterpress product!

I then finish off the card with pearl purple panel, tie with purple ribbon with a tiny tag. And I don't forget to add a touch of shimmer with the Wink Of Stella marker. I love those subtle shimmer effect.

I try to capture the shimmer with camera but it's not easy! Hope you get the idea.
