Happy New Year

Time flies and it's now 2014! I have seen lots of postings about year review and new year resolution. And there's one that caught my attention: Seasons Givings Bloghop.

A ton of people on the list and just by comment on the post you have the chance to win loads of goodies. Sounds too good to be true right?

The list starts with some big company name. And most of them accepts comments till Jan 5 still time to check them out.
Lawn Fawn
Reverse Confetti
My Favorite Things Stamps
CAS-ual Friday Stamps
Fresh Squeezed Stamps
...
and the list go on.

I did a brief count and there are total of 81 bloggers to join this event.

Sometimes I think the card making (I mean scrapbook too) community is a strangely odd place. It seems not real. There are 81 blogger just will send you a big gift package for free where in the real world there's always no free lunch. That's how I love the crafter community, which reminds me there are people who care, there are people who'd like to give (of course there are bad apple out there too which I don't want to talk about here to spoil the holiday mood). It's a big cheer up when one do get the prize and it feels like winning the lotto!

And that reminded me, it's a good time for me to contribute as well. Even though I was not part of this blog hop, I still would like to prepare a goodie box to share with you. Details to be filled in during the weekend.

Speaking of those, I recently won 2 prize packages from commenting on facebook. The prize pack is just huge and I can't recall how joyful I am when I found out. I'll post the picture later too.

But I do want to special thank I'm Impressed Stamp for the generosity. It's indeed a huge prize.

OK, let's have a brief recap.

Honestly I didn't have much chance to create lots of cards last year. And going through the ones that I create I do like this one the most.

On the other hand, Cath from Moxie Fab World steps down even now the site is back up running again it doesn't feel the same. I like the Tuesday Trigger challenge and it's now no more. In addition, Play Date Cafe also closed the door after some years. I enjoy the colour combo challenge and I often visits the site (even though I wasn't able to participate much). It's always sad to see the closure after all these years.

As for myself, I would like to find more time in crafting, more time for blogging and more time commenting. In addition, perhaps shed some weight. I would like to get back training for 10K and perhaps one day half marathon would be like my dream come true. On a side note, I probably would cut back my budget on craft spending as I am considering to quit the current job. Will see how things turn out.

Last but not least, wish everyone a great start of the year. Stay tune for the details of my giveaway.
