Embossed Christmas Cards

In my experience, another way to assemble a "quick" card is to use embossing folder. Speedy, yet still display a sophisticated look.

However, it would be better to have sandable paper to reveal some contrast of the embossed texture. On Saturday I was able to get this embossing folder in buy one get one free deal. So this one is actually $4 I think it's absolutely a bargain.

Here are the two cards I made.

I rub some Faded Jeans distress ink with the foam applicator on the embossed image, add a sticker and a "star" and call it complete.


The second card I embossed the image on a sandable red paper and sand the paper to review the embossed image. Then I match a patten paper at the back and add a gold x'mas tree ribbon. Another two cards are done!
