My first sewing project

I always wanted to try out sewing (again) but ever since I have broken 3 needle of the sewing machine in a row (and that happened in my needle work class back in high school), I gave up except the absolute need of say, repair a button.

But all the recent Papertrey ink projects has really inspired me of making some felt projects. I finally pull the trigger and bought some felt and matching colour thread.

I have watched the youtube tutorial but still not too sure what I'm supposed to do but anyway, here is my first attempt:

The ribbon on the bunny head has fell off after the first wash and left a big mark of the hot glue. So I decided to sew on a felt ribbon to cover it up.
