Masculine Card

I got request of making masculine card.
And gosh...it's too much a challenge for me.

To make a card without cute image, without flower, without ribbon, without butterfly etc...what else should I use?

I was hoping this one is masculine but I guess it's just neutral.

I was trying recreate this one.
I like that card because it is so elegant and have a very relax feeling, since it is beach/seashell theme.
But even though she listed all the material/ink but I still had a hard time getting the same result. First, I can't get a crisp image using distress ink. So I have to experiment other type of ink I have. Then time just flies...
