And also I woke up late. This is the first time since "I forgot when" that I am able to sleep until 11am. But this does not last long. Even I slept at 4am I still got up at 9:30 on Sunday morning.
Anyway, a U classmate from Taiwan was visiting and she's going skating with my other friend, I decided to join them and go skating as well. This is the 2nd time I go skating but too bad I'm a skate/ski dummy, I still can't get it yet. Yeah, I don't expect to get it this time either.
Altogether I skate for 1.5 hour and most of the time I was walking in small steps with my skate on. Sometimes with the "walker" so that I can try the feel of the speed. I guess if I spent 10 hours I may get it, judging from the time I learn how to ride a bike...oh well. It took me 5 hours to just learn how to ride a bike. Btw, I bought a pair of soccer shoes for $20 from Zellars. On Tuesday, I will try out soccer for the first time, with my coworkers.
After dinner, I spent the whole night to make the Fathers' Day card for my FIL. Here it is:
| From My creations |
Sunday: I woke up early in the morning, and decided to have some fun with my nails. Then I went dimsum with my IL's family. After that FIL suggests to have a ride to the new Golden Ear Bridge. It's a toll bridge and will be in effect next month. It's a nice drive but too bad my hubby didn't enjoy that much: because of the slight rain, his car is now DIRTY.
My right arms are quite sore and I finally realized that since I constantly hold the railing so tight with my right arm during skating, my arms are sore.
My SIL almost went crazy after seeing my nail so I also did her nail as well. After that we went out for dinner. FIL is not too happy about the 45 minutes wait in the restaurant. But it's Fathers' Day, it's just busy everywhere.
Lastly, my latest "nail art". :)
Click here for the one I did for SIL.
This is mine.
