Valentine's weekend

This year, Valentine's Day fall on the Saturday. But surprisingly, we have no special plan. In the afternoon, we went to the car dealership to buy extended warranty for my hubby's car. Time flies, it's already 4 years old! The extended warranty is costly! $4000! Poor hubby, poor wallet!

After that, we went to Granville Island for a short walk. It's so crowded. And then we went to downtown for dinner. At first I thought Chinese food won't cost as much as those "valentine's special menu" in the western restaurant. I was wrong! There is also valentine's menu and we spent more than we expected. And yeah, we did have nice food...grill lobster, steak, liver, cod, as well as the beef slices. After dinner, we went to watch a movie called "The curious case of Benjamin Button". A great movie (with Brad Pitt) with great story!

On Sunday, I was asked by my friend to be his "swimming instructor". Planned to go swimming in UBC but found out that it's closed for public swim when we got there! So we end up go back to water mania. I'm glad that after an hour, my friend did improve! I'm a good teacher! haha :D And yeah, I found out that it's time to shop for another swimming suit. After that, my hubby and I visited the Richmond Oval and took some pictures.
